Choose and train several assistants to help you in the event of a disaster.
Identify people living within the area boundaries who are trained or talented in organizing recreational activities. Teach them how they can most effectively contribute their services in the event of a disaster.
Research what has been done to maintain the morale of the people by communities that have been struck by disaster. Consider situational challenges that may be encountered in both winter and summer months.
In the event of a disaster, after reporting to your respective block captain, go directly to the EOC – Emergency Operations Center to help in establishing a working EOC to assist all people living within the area boundaries in receiving the necessary aid.
Set up and direct necessary morale boosting activities to alleviate stress and other psychological factors.
